Patricia began her working life in a successful career in sales and management. She started out as a management trainee with Procter and Gamble and quickly rose to sales manager and then national account manager.
She then went to work in a wide variety of sales and sales management roles such as area manager, national accounts manager, sales controller and trade marketing manager, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the full gamut of sales roles. She has successfully run many sales teams including, at Energizer batteries leading the transformation away from direct distribution to channel distribution and leading a major field sales initiative at Coca-Cola spanning a full range of channels. Patricia’s teams were known for always delivering results and being cohesive, motivated teams.
In 2001 Patricia became a training consultant focusing on building clients commercial effectiveness via sales methodology and skills. In that time she has helped a wide variety and number of clients builds their commercial effectiveness. For example, she led and managed a major, multi division sales transformation Initiative for Norwich Union, an ongoing sales effectiveness programme for technology firm Symbian Software that helped them grow from start-up status to market leading operating system for all mobile phones. Her clients have included globally recognized brands from the consumer goods industry such as Revlon, Dawn Foods, from the Technology industry; Symbian, Wolfson Microelectronics, Tom Tom, PayPal and Epson and from publishing; Harlequin Mills & Boon and Wiley.
